October 22, 2024 Prayer Letter

Hello All-

    As you know from our last prayer letter, we are here in Washington, back at our home church. We have already established care with a gut specialist, and have also done some extensive testing, and still have a few things to do.

    We just wanted to give a praise to the Lord for revealing knowledge, understanding, and wisdom on some things. Sarah has some bad bacteria, at an extremely high level that is more than triple the high marker amount! It was an expensive and very extensive test to reveal this, but praise God something has been found, and now we can finally start treating it properly.

    The prayer request is for the six-week treatment that needs to be done in order to kill the bad bacteria and re-establish good gut health. The doc said there will be intentional gut flares that may exasperate her stiff person syndrome, but there’s no other way to get rid of these bugs. We have the overall vision, though, to understand that it will, Lord willing, give her even more health, strength, and stability to have great health in Mexico.

    So, praise the Lord for more answers! And please pray for Sarah for extra strength and grace through the next couple months as she goes through the treatment. As always, thank you VERY much for your prayers!
