To Whom It May Concern:

Adam and Sarah Russell have been faithful members at Faith Baptist Church for a number of years. We have enjoyed their smiling faces and servants’ attitudes; to be sure, their place will be missed. Adam has been preparing for possible ministry training the last several years through a discipline of study that we offer. He is studious, a quick learner and always prepared. He and Sarah both have been heavily involved in all aspects of our children’s ministries – Sunday School and Master Club, as well as both the Jr. and Sr. High teen groups. Any aspect of evangelistic outreach – door knocking, open-air work, fair booth - they have been involved and fruitful in winning souls to Christ.

Before starting deputation full-time, Adam was employed at a large coal fired electrical plant nearby with several other Christians. His testimony has been stellar on that front. His job is one that is technical in nature and requires him to work unsupervised at times – diligence is a must for the safety and well being of others. From personal experience, that quality alone tells me a lot about their potential success on the mission field. Many times a missionary is overwhelmed with all the tasks the field can impose upon them. Being able to think things through, prioritize them in order of need and then DOING them is paramount. Colossians 4:17 “And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.” That is the great need, a man/family that is called to the work and will stay the course. I Corinthians 4:2 “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”

Adam and his family were able to visit Mexico in January, 2014 and will be working with the Raymond Jones family near Guadalajara. Raymond was born in Mexico to missionary parents and the work there has been well established for years, so the Russells will have a great opportunity from the start. Sarah is fluent in Spanish and Adam is working diligently on his fluency. They have wonderful children, which will be an asset in Mexico. I trust you will strongly consider having them present their calling and the possibility of supporting them financially. Feel free to call me if you have any questions or concerns. May God bless you richly,

To whom it may concern,

I have had the pleasure of knowing Adam Russell for the past six years. The past four years he has worked under my direct supervision in two different positions.

Adam has repeatedly displayed intelligence, creativity,  dependability,  and high performance. He is very competent and efficient in his current position within Operations. He also possesses good communication skills and is a man of character, which he never compromises.

Adam has always been a pleasure to work with. He has consistently displayed a positive attitude, is good natured, works well and maintains good rapport everyone, regardless of the situation.

In summary, I highly recommend Adam for any position or endeavor that he may choose to pursue. He has proven to be a valuable asset to me and will be a valuable asset to any organization.

Sincerely,
