Nov 11, 2016 Family Update

Hey everyone

It’s been a while since I have published anything on here….I’m really sorry. We have been doing great, with typical bumps in the road. There have been a few sicknesses and other things, but all is well. In September we took a VERY long trip from Montana to Florida in 3 days!!! After spending almost 2 weeks in Florida we drove to Texas; that means we drove 3000+ miles in 3 weeks ugh 🙂 . Overall those miles were great. We stopped in South Dakota and saw Mt. Rushmore, we had no accidents, no break downs, and no thick traffic. It was a rough 3 days but great overall.

Here is a blessing; After driving 2000+ miles in 3 days to Florida, the day after we arrived at my brothers house the alternator went out. Yes, it was a blessing because it could have went out anywhere inbetween Montana and Florida but it went out in my brothers driveway! My brother is a mechanic so we just drove over to the part store and he replaced it with all the tools in his garage. We were very thankful the Lord held it off until we got there.

Now here in Texas we have been in many Spanish conferences, which has been great for me to practice speaking. To be honest I have been learning a lot that I used to know and I feel like in 3 weeks I have improved.  Please pray on that for my kids and I, because we would like to hold a decent conversation before we arrive in Mexico.
