July 2025 Prayer Letter

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Our return to Mexico has been a big ball of… everything, haha. It is great to be with the church here in Mexico as a family again! We also have experienced a little culture shock after being in the states for so long. With everything that we’re going through, the Lord spoke to us in many different ways within the first two weeks being here, confirming His will for us to return to Mexico fulltime. We can’t explain the comfort that comes with knowing that it is finally in the Lord’s timing to return back to the work & ministry in Mexico. After feeling like vagabonds for so long, we finally feel like we are at home again!
We obviously give thanks and glory to the Lord for everything that he has done over the last three years: His grace in sparing Sarah’s life, the way he carried us spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally. There were many struggles, as you are aware, but He carried us through it all. We have learned much, but we also know that there’s still more He will teach us and use for His glory and honor. Praise God for the personal relationship He gives us, especially during the hard times.
We also want to give thanks to you! We are very thankful that we put deputation and supporting churches in the Lord’s hands all those years ago because He knew who He wanted as our fellow laborers/supporters. Many times when missionaries come off the field unexpectedly for an extended length of time, it doesn’t always end well. Therefore we want to say thank you for your faithfulness. Throughout the whole time when there most likely were doubts in the back of everyone’s minds, including ours, you continued to be faithful in the Lord concerning our family. Your love for us, encouraging words, friendship, constant prayers, and faithful financial support can not be underestimated in keeping us moving forward. This is the epitome of “holding the ropes”, and “supporting missions”. Many things happen with missionaries that we don’t understand, but you stood strong and faithful to the Lord, our ministry, and our family. We are amazed and very appreciative. This isn’t sucking up to the masses, but us just sincerely giving honor and gratitude where it is due. THANK YOU!
Another thing for which we are extremely grateful is for Kendra’s graduation. It was a real pleasure to recognize her hard, consistent work she has given throughout all the years; especially her years as a missionary kid never really being stable, with life and “home” constantly moving and changing. With everything that she has been through, it gives us real pleasure seeing her heart still in love with the Lord, and praying about what the Lord would have her do in the future. She is planning to spend a year here on the field with us, without school, and learn all that she can as we pray what the Lord would have her do. Please help us pray for the Lord’s guidance and instruction for her future.
Now that we are back in Mexico fulltime, we look to continue the vision that God has reinvigorated. We are slowly getting more involved and taking the reigns as we get settled back in. After three years, there is so much that we are excited to do, but we know that we need to take it step by step, as the Lord would allow. Recently, the Lord led us to hire an architect to help us plan the use of the property in alignment with the full vision He has given us. This has been very exciting for everyone here! When this process is done we’ll share some pictures as well as a more complete vision to encourage y’all in this work that you’ve invested in over the many years.
We pray this letter is as much of an encouragement to you as it is to us. To see the Lord continue to work in and through us is an honor and an encouragement; and it’s just as much of an encouragement to see your faithfulness as well. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ and His love to His church!
Brothers and Sisters, keep up the good fight!
